Amazon's Author Central

One thing I see a lot of novice authors not do when they create their Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) account is create their author central account. 

If you've ever been on Amazon, and looked a book, then wanted to see more by the author, you went and clicked that author's name, and WHAM, they have a profile page on Amazon! All their books are linked there, they have a bio, image, even videos and blog posts!

How!?

They created their Author Central account. It's FREE, and really easy. It does more than create a bio... it also lets you track your sales rank and see new book reviews as they come in. 

How do I create one?

It used to be authorcentral.com, but it has been changed. That link still gets you there, but all you do is go to ​author.amazon.com 

You can also run Amazon Ads through there now!
